Steve Bendelack's World Cup Nationwide campaign
Steve Bendelack, comedy director at Spank Films has just directed the new World Cup Nationwide campaign written by Chris Felsted & Adam Arber at Leagas Delaney.
Supporting Nationwide's sponsorship of the England team, the ad features Matt Lucas and David Walliams, as Lou and Andy the little Britain Icons alongside a galaxy of England footballer stars and manager Fabio Capello. It is the first time the much loved Little Britain characters have featured in an advertising campaign. Award winning Bendelack is no stranger to directing the duo as he did so for the Little Britain series as well as other well known BBC comedy series', League of Gentleman and Royle Family. He excels at bringing out natural comedy dialogue performances and last year won numerous awards for his BBC 3 spot 'Fearless' including BTAA and Creative Circle.
