Director: Rowena True at Park Village
It's not every day you get the chance to sign a young Royal College of Art Student with an MA in animation, Park Village welcomes Rowena True.
Her interests in fashion and styling are coupled with an unconventional approach to animation. Her playful eclectic style from origami to stop-frame has been applied to her short podcast piece for TopShop's vintage clothing range.
The film was intended to be viewed small - with this mind she particuarly wanted the focus to be miniatures. The film is a combination of miniature stop-motion animation and poloroids. The emphasis was on being playful and fun!
Topshop provided a number of pieces of clothing as a starting point for creative narratives.
