Hot new talent Kim Albright has been busy since launching with Thomas Thomas Films this summer. TBWA\London commissioned Albright to shoot 10 spots for Skittles for their new GoSkittlesYourself website. The films were shot in a lo-fi style with minimal post-production & encourage users to create & upload their own pictures & movies to the site.
"Orange" features a man knitted into a giant woolly jumpsuit,
"Yellow" shows a table-tennis match inspired by Japanese Matrix Ping-Pong,
while "Red Line" shows a giant red trail around the mean streets of east London.
Shortly after, Kim directed 2 Lynx virals after winning BBH's Cutlets competition earlier in the year. Kim shot at Crystal Palace stadium, casting world-class athletes & sexy Lynx girls.
After the success of her acclaimed "Dragonfly" short film, Kim has just received funding for a new film project, a black comedy, revealing a conversation between grandfather & his teenage grandson.
Prior to directing commercials, Canadian Albright cut her teeth on music videos, including Souvenir (AKA Tom Vek) which was awarded Label Winner 07 at the prestigious Radar Festival.
