Latest Work From Marco & Matthaus

MORE NEW WORK FROM MATTHÄUS BUSSMANN

With nearly 200 commercials to his name, Matthäus Bussmann is one of the busiest and most prolific directors on the Stamp roster, and despite his herculean work rate, there is no sacrifice to his trademark quality, as these two new spots demonstrate.

First up is a beautiful commercial for the new summer collection for Sears. In keeping with previous spots Bussmann has shot for the American department store, it’s a sun-kissed montage of young people speaking about why summer is their favourite season. Subtle, evocative, and full of spontaneity, this is textbook Bussmann.

The second is a trailer for a major T-Mobile campaign, in what is being billed as “the first truly interactive road movie”. Featuring Casino Royale star Mads Mikkelsen, the commercial launches a unique project in which all T-Mobile customers can contribute to the making of a film, from pre-production to release.

STEAMY NEW WORK FROM MARCO GENTILE

Here’s Stamp director Marco Gentile‘s latest commercial, and it’s up to his usual high standard. Working with agency Euro RSCG, ‘For The Impatient’ is a fast, funny, and spirited spot for Durex. As with all Marco’s work, it’s visually sumptuous and performance-driven, with superb turns from the two actors as the impatient – but raunchy – young couple.

Marco spoke to Shoot Online about the ad, saying: “Directing the Durex campaign was very exciting…it gave me the chance to work more on the acting with a couple of very capable and reactive actors.”
