Waspface is an independent production company working in advertising and television. We have a strong commitment to producing work that is both original and distinctive. The company was launched in June 2011 by executive producer Tim Nunn and director Paul Gay.
Paul, former art director at DDB London, has been directing for over ten years, working with most of the top creative advertising agencies in the world. His work has won numerous awards for clients as diverse as Dulux, British Army, and Volkswagen. His success naturally led to offers in television where he directed the pilot episodes of ‘Skins’ for Channel 4, and later ‘Desperate Romantics’, for BBC 2.
Tim began his career in advertising working for the photographer Stak but later made the jump to film production when he moved to Helen Langridge & Associates. While at HLA he became head of production where he produced for a wide variety of directors over a period of eight years. Since then Tim has worked at several of London’s top production companies including Hungry Man where he spent five years as executive producer.
